MopHive is an iPhone app for people who run a home-cleaning business. This page explains what happens to your information when you use it.

Your data stays in your iCloud

Your business details, clients, schedule, payments, mileage, expenses and receipt photos are kept on your iPhone and in your own iCloud account. MopHive has no servers that store them, and we can't see them.

No accounts, ads or tracking

You don't make an account with us. The app has no ads, no analytics and no tracking. This website sets no cookies.

Apple Maps

To find addresses, miles and drive times, MopHive sends addresses to Apple Maps. Apple handles them under its own privacy policy.

Contacts and Calendar

MopHive reads your contacts only when you pick one to fill in a client, and uses your calendar only when you turn on Apple Calendar or bring in clients from it.

Texts

MopHive writes texts for you, and you send them yourself from Messages. We never see them.

Payment links

When a text carries a short payment link, MopHive saves a small public page in Apple's iCloud so the link works. It holds your business name, your logo if you added one, the ways you take payment with their usernames or details, the amount, a short note such as "Sample Cleaning Co cleaning 10/6", the items the link covers (dates, service names and prices) and, if you choose, your business phone number. It never includes your client's name, address or phone number. Anyone with the link can see that page.

An unpaid link works for 90 days. Once it's paid, the page says "Paid, thank you" for 30 days. Then the link stops working and is deleted. If you turn off Short payment links in the app, your public page is removed right away.

The pages on mophive.com and mophive.app are served by Cloudflare. MopHive keeps no record of link codes, amounts, payment details or IP addresses. Cloudflare handles requests to deliver these pages, under its own privacy policy.
